Synopsis:
Li Wu comes from a humble background, but due to a misunderstanding, he becomes a member of the imperial secret police known as the Embroidered Uniform Guards. On the outside he seems selfish and articulate, but deep down he is honest and values brotherhood. Lu Zheng is an original guardian; distant and lack good language. But through meeting them, they find the friendship they were both looking for and grow together. Together they become involved in many cases and hatreds that run deep in the court.
